    Background

    NZAM suspended its activities in early 2025 and relaunched on 25 February 2026 with 253 signatories, down from 330 in October 2024.

    Scope and powers

    Signatories commit to support the goal of net zero emissions. The relaunched commitment no longer requires them to align portfolios with net zero by 2050.

    Investor relevance

    Membership now says less about a manager's climate commitment than before. Check the manager's own targets and voting record.
