Industry Standards Forum (ISF)
ESG & GovernanceA forum of the industry bodies ASSOCHAM, CII and FICCI that develops standards for BRSR Core assessments, in consultation with SEBI.
The ISF was formed to help companies meet SEBI's ESG reporting requirements with practical, industry-developed standards. Since March 2025, a BRSR Core assessment carried out under ISF standards is an accepted alternative to assurance. Because the standards come from industry bodies rather than an independent standard setter, analysts should read assessment reports with that in mind.
