Exclusion strategy
ESG & GovernanceAn investment strategy built mainly on negative screening, which avoids named sectors, activities or companies.
Exclusion is one of the six strategies SEBI allows for ESG mutual fund schemes, and the strategy must appear in the scheme's name. An exclusion fund should hold none of the activities it says it excludes. Check the fund's exclusion list and thresholds against its actual holdings.
