POSH Act

    ESG & Governance

The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, which requires employers to prevent and resolve sexual harassment complaints.

Employers with 10 or more employees must set up an Internal Committee to handle complaints. The BRSR asks for the number of POSH complaints filed, pending and upheld, and complaints as a share of female employees is part of BRSR Core. Very low numbers in a large workforce can mean that women do not feel safe to complain.
