    A bond whose proceeds fund a mix of green and social projects under a single framework.

    Sustainability bonds follow ICMA's Sustainability Bond Guidelines, which draw on both the Green Bond Principles and the Social Bond Principles. The framework should say which projects are green, which are social and how the money is split. Do not confuse a sustainability bond, which ring-fences money for projects, with a sustainability-linked bond, which does not.
