ESG & GovernanceInvesting in companies whose business serves a sustainability theme, such as clean energy, water, electric mobility or healthcare access.
Thematic funds pick companies by what they sell rather than by ESG scores. Green revenue share is a common test of exposure to the theme. Thematic funds can be concentrated and volatile, and a company that fits the theme may still have weak governance or high emissions elsewhere in its business.
